Download Your Spartan Experience Record Before July 29, 2026

The Registrar’s Office transcript request process and the Spartan Experience Record (SER) are moving to new platforms, respectively. To support our transitions, requests for current SER records will be temporarily paused beginning July 29, 2026, and will remain into the early fall semester.

If you’d like a copy of your current record for employment, graduate school, scholarships, or your personal files, submit your request before July 29.

The SER platform is accessible to review your record – only formal requests through the Registrar’s Office will be paused.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.Will the Spartan Experience Record platform be available during the request pause?

Yes. Students can still login and review their unofficial SER in the platform here: https://ser.msu.edu/login/.

2. Can opportunities still be added to my SER after July 29?

Yes. Opportunities can be directly added to the platform, and experiences that you have participated in can still be added to your record.

3. When will I be able to request my official SER again?

We are working on exciting improvements and changes to the SER, and will update early fall with further details. Stay tuned!
