SERiously, the SER Team is Here to Help! / Tuesday, September, 10 / 11:00-2:00 / STEM 2101A
Meet the SER team, who will be available talk with you about how you can utilize SER services to your benefit! iPads will be available for students to login to the SER platform, search the SER Opportunities Catalog, and take next steps to get involved outside of the classroom at MSU.
SER Week, October 14-19, 2024
- Student Additions to the SER / Monday, October, 14 / 11:00-12:00 / STEM Lobby
- Join SER Ambassadors as they walk through the process students can follow to add experiences to the Spartan Experience Record. The workshop will conclude with students actively working on SER submissions with the assistance of Ambassadors. Every student attendee will receive a SER goodie bag as a thank you for participating and adding to the SER!
- Tell YOUR Spartan Story! /Tuesday, October 15 / 9:30-11:00 / STEM
- Meet with SER Ambassadors to discuss resume development, interview prep, and goal alignment, using your SER as a resource. You also have the option to share YOUR Spartan story with us to be featured on social media. The first 15 students to sign up for an appointment will receive a MSU Dairy Store coupon for free ice cream.
- Trail Mix & Transferrable Skills / Wednesday, October 16 / 10:00-12:00 / STEM
- Craft trail mix to enjoy by reflecting on the transferrable skills you’ve developed, or plan to develop, thanks to out-of-classroom involvement at MSU. Each trail mix add-in represents a transferable skill.
- Envision & Engage / Thursday, October 17 / 5:00-7:00 / STEM

- Join the SER team for a quick discussion on the importance of visualizing goals, and how the SER can help you reach those goals, then create your own vision board as a physical reminder to stay motivated. Pizza will be provided.

SER Peer Education, Fall 2024
Spartan Experience Record (SER) Peed Education sessions are offers on a drop-in basis. Sessions are designed to introduce MSU Undergraduates to the SER as both a record and a tool. Join SER Ambassadors as they discuss what the SER is, how it can be used, where to request your SER and more, all while addressing your specific questions along the way! To access Zoom, click on the associated hyper link at the time of drop-ins.
While SER Ambassadors are finalizing peer education schedules, you can schedule a time to meet with an SER Ambassador by emailing mystory@msu.edu.
